Sheryll Camagong

Sheryll, born in the Philippines, came to San Diego when she was 17 and studied computer science at LACC. In 1999 she received her license as a pharmacy tech and found a home at Pencol. During her 10 years with us, Sheryll completed her Aseptic Training through PCCA and is certified to work in Pencol’s unique sterile room.

When asked what she likes best about working at Pencol, Sheryll is quick to say it’s the everyday challenges of “making it” – calculating the specific, individual formulations and delivery methods that meet the needs of our patients. “I know our products and I know how they are made,” she says. The friendly and companionable working environment is part of what has kept Sheryll glad to be working here.

Having to chuckle when asked what she did when not working at Pencol, Sheryll is quick to point out that raising 3 children does not leave time for much else! When she can, Sheryll spends time with family and friends and when the opportunity presents itself, goes back to visit with family in the Philippines.
