Van was born in Viet Nam and in 1995, the Human Organization Project brought Van and her family to the United States. Without speaking English, Van began what she calls her ‘second life’ by enrolling at CCD and earning an Associates Degree before going on to Heritage College to get her pharmacy tech training. During her 6 years at Pencol, Van completed her Aseptic Training with PCCA and is certified to work in the Pencol sterile room. Van is fluent in both her job and her two languages!

Van’s dedication to Pencol comes from her belief that compounding is better – that a small pharmacy is better – and that the closeness and camaraderie here at Pencol is, “…better.”

Ask anyone at Pencol and they will tell you that next to work, what Van loves best is shopping! Her collection of sneakers and watches is legendary; and just one of the many reasons we love having Van working with us
