Yvonne Regensberg

Yvonne, a Colorado native, began her studies with an Associates Degree in mechanical design and a B.S. in management from Westwood College. Then, in a turn of events, Yvonne worked for the next 20 years at St. Luke’s Hospital, attending Westwood College in the evenings. She also worked part-time at University Hospital and then went to work at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers for 5 years. In 1999, Yvonne got her CPhT certification. During much of her 5 years at Pencol, Yvonne also taught institutional pharmacy and pharmacy math at Arapahoe Community College. Yvonne has completed her Asceptic Training through PCCA and is certified to work in our unique sterile room. Whew…..we are exhausted just thinking about Yvonne’s background. And we are proud to have her as a member of our team.

Yvonne likes to solve mysteries, and at Pencol she has found that compounding is like solving a mystery; “It is not routine,” she says. “Compounding is always changing, growing and expanding. I am always figuring out new things.” Being involved with the teaching and training of pharmacy school students during their pharmacy rotations is also a particular interest to Yvonne.

Yvonne spends her off-work hours taking her son to ROTC Drill Team, track and wrestling competitions. Making time for camping, fishing and hiking is also a must. She admits that fishing is a particularly favorite way to spend time, and she has the ‘fish story’ to prove it – a foot long trout with pictures to back up her claim
