Hormones – Hormone Replacement Therapy for Women

After more than 20 years of compounding Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy for women, we have found that BHRT used by women who suffer from hormonal imbalance has improved the quality of their lives. At Pencol, nothing matters more.

A woman’s body produces Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone, DHEA, Pregnenolone, Thyroid, and Cortisol. When these become out of balance the effects can be life changing.

BHRT hormones have the same chemical structure as the hormones that are made by the human body. This is the key to Bio-identical Hormone Replacement – the chemical structure is the same as the biological structure so it provides normal physiological effects.

We have developed methods and formulas to provide individual BHRT strengths and delivery systems to meet the specific needs of each patient. Bottom line? Our patients feel better, and so do we!

For Patients with UTERUS

1. Progesterone is replaced topically or bucally at 50mg to 100mg / day
2.  Triest 1.25mg sublingually twice daily until symptoms are fully controlled.

 

Triest 1.25mg twice daily dose consisting of:

• Estrone  (E₁)  0.125mg
• Estradiol  (E₂)  0.125mg
• Estriol  (E₃)  1.0mg

After 6 months the dose of Triest is reduced to 1.25mg sublingually once daily
(estriol portion reduced to 1.0mg daily instead of 2.0mg / day).

 - or -

Triest 1.20mg once daily dose consisting of:

• Estrone  (E₁)  0.10mg
• Estradiol  (E₂)  0.10mg
• Estriol  (E₃)  1.0mg

The Triest dose is gradually reduced over time to 0.60mg sublingually once daily

(estriol portion reduced to 0.50mg / day).
The estrone and Estradiol are also reduced.

-  or  -            Triest 0.60mg once daily dose consisting of:

• Estrone  (E₁)  0.05mg
• Estradiol  (E₂)  0.05mg
• Estriol  (E₃)  0.50mg

For Patient’s with TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY

1. Progesterone is replaced topically or bucally at 10mg to 25mg / day
2. Triest 1.25mg sublingually twice daily until symptoms are fully controlled.

 

Triest 1.25mg twice daily dose consisting of:

• Estrone  (E₁)  0.125mg
• Estradiol  (E₂)  0.125mg
• Estriol  (E₃)  1.0mg

After 6 months the dose of Triest is reduced to 1.25mg sublingually once daily
(estriol portion reduced to 1.0mg daily instead of 2.0mg / day).

- or -            Triest 1.20mg once daily dose consisting of:

• Estrone  (E₁)  0.10mg
• Estradiol  (E₂)  0.10mg
• Estriol  (E₃)  1.0mg

The Triest dose is gradually reduced over time to 0.60mg sublingually once daily
(estriol portion reduced to 0.50mg / day).
The estrone and Estradiol are also reduced.

-  or  -            Triest 0.60mg once daily dose consisting of:

• Estrone  (E₁)  0.05mg
• Estradiol  (E₂)  0.05mg
• Estriol  (E₃)  0.50mg
