Occasionally, we learn about a prescription drug that is unavailable for a period of time or has been discontinued. Armour Thyroid comes to mind as one of those very popular prescription drugs that, for a time, patients could not get. At Pencol, we were able to compound an equivalent drug to help our patients get through that period.
